Annual Live and Silent Auction
This will be the 29th event of its kind and is scheduled for the 12th of May at the Huntington Cold Spring Harbor United Methodist Church. The auction is geared at benefiting the Dolan Family Health Center, which provides health care services for underinsured and un-insured families in the community. Those in attendance will receive free refreshments and will have the opportunity to purchase drinks at the cash bar. They will also enjoy relaxing live music throughout the duration of the auction. Items to be auctioned include sports tickets, holiday packages, golf packages, fishing trips, dinner reservations, theatre tickets, memorabilia, etc. As we enjoy the beautiful spring season, it is also important that we remember to do something that makes another person’s spring just as beautiful as our own. Admission only costs $5 per head.
Annual BeauTea Soiree Wellness Event
The 5th Annual BeauTea Event is scheduled for the 21st of April and aims to spread awareness on matters of health and wellness. The initiative specifically places emphasis on the importance of the Immune System and the Lymphatic. All services and lectures will be courtesy of professionals who will give recommendations on how to detoxify the body using medicinal herbs. If you do not want to attend the event for the information, you will be pleased to learn that there will be a farm to table nutritional buffet provided by the Indigo Hotel, therapeutic chair massages, and acupuncture for whoever’s brave enough.
Spring Boutique
The Spring Boutique will be held at Old Westbury Gardens and will feature local businesses and individual vendors selling rare handmade items; at the spring boutique there is something for everyone, so make sure to swing by. Head over to Old Westbury Gardens on the 5th and 6th of May between 10 am and 5 pm on both days.
