Let’s have a look at some of the activities you can engage in this Labor Day Weekend.

Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts

Attend the 9th annual Westhampton Beach Festival of the Arts hosted by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. The festival attracts artists from all over the country, transforming the Great Lawn on Main Street into one huge art gallery.

Discover great art pieces including paintings, homemade jewelry, photography, sculptures, metal works, wood-works, ceramic crafts, and so much more. It’s artistic variety like you have never seen before.

The festival kicks off on 2nd and ends on 3rd September, opening both days from 11 am to 6 pm. Admission and parking for this event are totally free.

Themed Skating Sessions at United Skates

Take the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting themed skating sessions organized by the United Skates of America at Seaford.

The sessions happen over a three-day period beginning on 1st September at 6 pm. This first session will be a Glow in the Dark theme. The second session will be a Hip-hop theme and the third and final session will be another Glow in the Dark theme. Admission for these sessions will be $12 per head, which earns you a rental, a small drink, and a slice of pizza.  Non-skating adults will pay $8.

Labor Day Weekend Craft & Gift Show

The show features small business vendors selling general merchandise and handmade crafts at pocket-friendly prices. This is the perfect opportunity to collect unique souvenirs to mark your 2017 summer with. Other activities and attractions that you may enjoy include inflatable rides, face painting for kids, and a wide variety of food and drinks. The Craft & Gift Show is completely free and kicks off on 2nd, going all the way to 4th September. Opening hours are between 10 am to 5 pm at the Jackson Avenue & Sunrise Highway.
