In New York, the vent features jazz performances in the best jazz joints in the city and a lot of other funky shows all across the city. You will also find rich cuisines in New York’s vibrant restaurant scene; savor the taste before the fasting sets in. This year Mardi Gras has been scheduled for the 13th of February and you don’t want to miss out.

Chinese New Year Parade

This is another exciting annual event; get into the Chinese mood this year at the Chinese New Year Parade set for 25th of February in Chinatown. During this time of the year, Chinatown is filled with huge dragons, dancers, and enticing food offers at the numerous food joints. The Chinese New Year Parade is meant to be a celebration of the Lunar New Year and is one of the biggest annual events New York has to offer. Other activities you will get to enjoy at the parade include karaoke, fireworks displays, dancing, and much more. The parade is set to kick off at 1 pm and will continue all the way to 5 pm. The march begins at Canal Street and heads down to Motto Street all the way to East Broadway and up towards Sara Roosevelt Park. Arrive on time to ensure that you don’t miss one bit of the magic the Parade has to offer.
