Rhum

Rhum is a Caribbean restaurant located along Main Street in Patchogue and is open between 11 am and 11 pm from Thursday to Saturday, and between 11 am to 9 pm from Sunday to Wednesday. The restaurant was launched quite recently, in 2016, by David and Rachel Hersh, introducing a Caribbean energy to this unassuming Long Island village. The restaurant has three stories, but what you’re really interested in is their rooftop. The rooftop is adorned with wooden accents, hanging benches, and greenery; it feels like you just took a quick trip to the Caribbean the minute you get up there. Enjoy Caribbean-inspired dishes like jerk chicken tacks and Barbados chicken and wash it all down with and assortment of drinks including rum punch and coconut mojitos.

Shipwreck Tavern

The Shipwreck Tavern is a popular Bar & Grill located along Bayville Avenue in Bayville, right across from the Long Island Sound. Head over to the rooftop of this gorgeous spot any day between 12 pm and 10 pm and enjoy the lounge seating, a tiki bar, umbrella tables, and a fire pit to keep you warm at night. The spot is also family friendly during the day, before the revelers take over at night, so drag the gang along for a nice family lunch out in the sun. Their menu has a wide array of choices including Classic American dishes such as fish & chips, Linguine, burgers, and specials such as steamed lobster.

Deep Water Bar and Grille

This chic Bar & Grill is located along Front Street in Greenport and is open between 12pm and 9pm from Monday to Saturday and from 12 pm to 6 pm on Sundays. The restaurant was opened in 2015 and has ever since served Greenport residents with delicious seafood and classic American dishes including crab cake sandwiches, chicken nachos, steak sandwiches, and burgers. For what’s left of the warm season, head over to the top deck, popularly known as ‘Beth’s Upper Deck’, after Beth Pike (the owner) and enjoy a meal and a drink out in the open.
