Best Time to Visit New York City in 2019

We can all agree that New York City is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. The Big Apple is always filled with visitors and tourists no matter what season of the year it is and regardless of whether it’s a holiday season or not. Despite the fact that you can visit this wondrous city any time you want, our New York airport transportation service representatives understand that different people want to visit the city for different reasons. As such, we have come up with a guide on when to visit the city for some of the most popular reasons.
Before we proceed, however, we would like to recommend employing the services of our Bronx Car Service for all your ground transportation needs in NYC. The most stressful aspect of visiting the Big Apple has to be the driving and navigating, especially when you don’t really know your way around. With a concierge car service like ours though, you don’t have to worry about this. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy our luxury amenities as a professionally trained and experienced chauffeur transfers you to any destination of your choice. Here are the best times to visit New York City in 2019.

Museums
If your interest in NYC is the museums, you should know that most museums around the city tend to be crowded during the holidays, especially during the Christmas holiday. This is because museums mostly remain closed during Thanksgiving, Christmas day, and New Year’s, making them particularly packed on the days surrounding these holidays. The best time to visit NYC museums is in January and February when everyone has just resumed a normal work/school routine. At this time, the queues tend to be shorter, the galleries quieter, and entrance fees lower. You may also want to look out for special exhibitions during the Fall, around the month of October.

Shopping
There are two periods in the year when New York hosts mass sale offers; that is November/December and April/May. Most retailers in the city have a defined seasonal schedule but offers are not strictly exclusive to stores and boutiques. Hotels, restaurants, and airlines also lower their prices in January due to the sudden dip in human traffic, coupled with the high amounts of sales/profits they made during the holidays.

Avoid Crowds
Most travelers will agree that if they had a chance to travel when everyone was either at work or in school, then that would be the most ideal time. New York City tends to be extremely crowded during the holidays. However, if you want to experience less crowds and enjoy the city without having to compete with other tourists for everything, we recommend visiting between January and March. These are deep winter months, so note that you will be receiving a more intimate NYC experience, but you will have to bear frigid temperatures.
